    Montana requests to amend the Montana Basic section 1115 demonstration to change the name of the demonstration, provide unlimited dental services above the state plan's current $1,125 dental services annual limit to individuals determined categorically eligible as Aged, Blind, and Disabled (ABD), and to update the state's budget neutrality projections to reflect the dental treatment expenditure above the annual limit. The federal public comment period will be open from March 22, 2016 through April 21, 2016.

    Montana has submitted an amendment request to increase the number of people enrolled in the Basic Medicaid for Able-Bodied Adults section 1115 demonstration. The demonstration covers 1) parents and caretaker relatives and 2) adults with income up to 150 percent of the FPL who have been diagnosed with a severe disabling mental illness. This amendment would increase the number of people with a qualifying severe disabling mental illness served in through the demonstration. The demonstration expires December 31, 2016.

    Montana requests to amend the Montana Basic for Able Bodied Adults section 1115 demonstration. The amendment request is to remove individuals under age 65 with severe disabling mental illness who are not covered by or eligible for Medicare and who are between 0 and 133 percent of the federal poverty level, and able bodied adults from the demonstration. The state also requests to reduce the enrollment cap from 6,000 to 3,000, offer a benefit package that will align with the Medicaid state plan, and provide twelve months of continuous eligibility. The federal public comment period will be open from November 24, 2015 through December 23, 2015.

    Montana requested an extension of its Basic Medicaid for Able-Bodied Adults section 1115 demonstration, which the state intends to rename "the Montana Medicaid Section 1115 Waiver for Additional Services and Populations"., The state has requested an extension through December 31, 2021. The demonstration will continue to: 1) cover individuals age 18 or older, with Severe Disabling Mental Illnesses (SDMI) who qualify for, or are enrolled in the State-financed Mental Health Services Plan (MHSP) to receive standard Medicaid benefits; 2) cover individuals determined categorically eligible as Aged, Blind, and Disabled (ABD) for dental treatment services above the Medicaid State Plan annual cap of $1,125; and 3) provide a 12-month continuous eligibility period for all non-expansion Medicaid-covered individuals whose eligibility is based on modified adjusted gross income (MAGI)." The federal public comment period will be open from August 31, 2016 through September 30, 2016.
