  • Washington State Medicaid Transformation Waiver - Amendment Request
    With this amendment request, Washington requests expenditure authority to provide in-lieu of services within Institute of Mental Disease for substance use disorder treatment, as well as maintain and expand broader treatment options for beneficiaries with substance use disorders. The state also requests to make various technical corrections to the demonstration's Standard Terms and Conditions of approval. The federal public comment period will be open from March 13, 2018 through April 12, 2018.
  • Washington Take Charge - 2017 Extension
    Washington is seeking to extend its Take Charge demonstration for five years with no program changes other than changing the name of the demonstration to "Family Planning Only Demonstration." This demonstration operates statewide and provides family planning and family planning-related services to men and women with family incomes at or below 260 percent of the federal poverty level. The federal public comment period will be open from December 7, 2017 to January 6, 2018.
  • Washington State Medicaid Transformation Waiver
    Washington state requested a new 1115 demonstration titled, the "Washington State Medicaid Transformation Waiver". Washington requests 1115 authority to transform the state's healthcare payment and delivery system through the implementation of Accountable Communities of Health. The request also includes changes to the state's Long Term Services & Supports program that better tailor long-term care benefits to meet the needs of the state's ageing population; and the use of Medicaid funding to implement programs that address social determinants of health, such as homelessness and unemployment to prevent avoidable institutionalization. The federal public comment period will be open from September 10, 2015 through October 9, 2015.
