Utah Primary Care Network - Aged Population Dental Amendment

On June 28, 2019, the State of Utah submitted an amendment to their section 1115 demonstration, "Primary Care Network." This amendment will allow the state to provide state plan dental benefits currently provided to pregnant women and the Blind and Disabled populations, as well as coverage of porcelain crowns, to Medicaid eligible individuals, ages 65 and older. The amendment will also allow the state to provide porcelain crowns to Targeted Adult Medicaid beneficiaries who are eligible for dental benefits under the demonstration. The federal comment period will be open from July 11, 2019 through August 10, 2019.
