Utah Primary Care Network - Social Detoxification Amendment

On February 6, 2019, the State of Utah submitted an amendment to their section 1115 demonstration, "Primary Care Network." This amendment will allow the state to provide clinically managed residential withdrawal services to Medicaid eligible adults, age 18 and older, who reside in Salt Lake County. The withdrawal services, which will be provided by the Volunteers of American Adult Detoxification Center and Center for Women and Children in a social setting, are provided to help individuals with substance use disorders (SUD) safely withdraw. The federal comment period will be open from February 9, 2019 through March 11, 2019.
