Nevada Behavioral Health in Youth Transformation

Nevada requests a new 5-year section 1115 demonstration to administer a "rising risk" assessment and refer participants that are at risk of behavioral health conditions to services administered through a program called Resources for the Advancement of Child Health (REACH). The state's goal is to provide interventions to these youth before they are diagnosed with a behavioral health condition to prevent hospitalization, trauma, suicide risk, substance abuse, and juvenile delinquency. The federal comment period will be open from September 22, 2015 through October 21, 2015.
